Product Description
Geranium × oxonianum ‘Claridge Druce’ is a vigorous, semi-evergreen cranesbill with a low, spreading habit. Soft grey-green foliage forms loose mounds beneath long-lasting mauve-pink flowers veined in deeper purple, creating a relaxed, continuous wash of colour from late spring into early autumn.
This herbaceous perennial typically reaches around 75 cm in height with a similar spread. It establishes into a reliable, adaptable presence in most garden soils, performing best in moderately fertile, well-drained conditions in full sun or partial shade, where it maintains steady flowering through the warmer months.
Well-suited to informal and mixed planting schemes, ‘Claridge Druce’ pairs naturally with Salvia, Nepeta and Penstemon, where its spreading habit softens edges and threads through neighbouring plants. It also works effectively as ground cover beneath shrubs and roses, bringing continuity of colour through the season.

Growing at a glance…
To plant loose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours before planting, then dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. If planting in pots, fill a large pot halfway with potting soil and then pop the roots in with the crown pointing upwards and the root system pointing to the floor. Plant in a sunny position, firm in and water well.
For Potted Plants: Plant out as soon as possible. Plant in well dug prepared soil with a little organic matter. Water well during the growing season to ensure the soil doesn't dry out too much. Remove old leaves and withered flower stems to encourage new growth. Apply a liquid feed every three/four weeks in summer.
