Product Description
Helleborus orientalis Double Red is quite similar to Double Purple, except in colour. The blooms grown on this helleborus appear in a dark maroon, which is emphasised with a double row of petals to create a perfect dish shape. Its foliage will outlive its blooms, adding colour to the garden all-year-round. Great for growing in flower beds where it can serve as ground cover, or in pots for an attractive yet easy to maintain display.

Growing at a glance…
They can be grown in groups to help create a very effective cluster of winter flowering plants. Once planted they should not be disturbed. Although Helleborus are evergreen they often lose their foliage in the first year. Upon arrival plant out straight away in fertile, well drained and moist soil. You can plant them at 45cm apart, in either full sun or in partial shade. If potting up, use John Innes Compost.
