Our 'Royal Standard' is a highly fragrant Hosta that produces brilliant bell-shaped snow-white flowers that stand against large green heart-shaped foliage. A vigorous grower, these clump-forming perennials reach a gradual height of 50-100cm and are a great addition to the garden where they are easy to maintain. Perfect for planting in the garden borders and patio containers where the fragrance of these beautiful flowers, that bloom from July to August, can really be enjoyed. Plant in any area of the garden from the sunniest to the most shaded areas where they will flourish.

Growing at a glance…
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil.
