Product Description
A winner of the RHS Award of Garden merit, 'Wide Brim' is one of the most popular variegated Hosta's that will create a striking and long-lasting display. This clump-forming perennial produces heart-shaped green leaves that are thickly edged with a creamy yellow. During the summer months of July to August, clusters of mauve flowers will bloom into action, standing tall above the contrasting and impressive foliage. This highly versatile variety can help to add charm and elegance to the front of garden borders or when planted within containers for those with smaller gardens, where they will reach a height of 40cm. First grade loose roots supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil. These are young plants, so please leave in small pots for 5 to 6 weeks and then pot on into a larger 1.5 - 2 litre pot, or plant into final spot.
