A beautiful Iris Louisiana specimen that displays deep cherry red petals with bright yellow signals on glossy deciduous foliage, 'Ann Chowning' is the perfect choice for brightening up the summer garden. With the flower heads spanning up to 10cm diameter, these striking hardy perennials make superb distinguished bouquets to be enjoyed within the home. They also look stunning when planted alongside contrasting colours of Iris Louisiana for more of a feature within the garden and are great for attracting pollinators such as butterflies. Originating from North America these plants will enjoy humid conditions and are ideal for planting near ponds or in damp borders. Flowering in May to July, they will reach a mature height of 70cm. First grade loose root plants supplied.
