Product Description

Jasminum beesianum forms a vigorous twining climber with slender stems and a relaxed, scrambling habit that quickly softens walls, fences and other supports. Its dark green foliage provides a dense backdrop for clusters of deep pink, lightly scented flowers, whose richer colouring sets it apart from many more softly toned Jasmines.

Blooming from June through to August, it typically reaches around 5 metres tall and develops best in full sun or partial shade. A sheltered position with moist but well-drained soil supports strong growth and reliable flowering, allowing the plant to establish a substantial seasonal presence without excessive spread.

The rich flower colour combines particularly well with Clematis in purple, blue or white shades, while Lonicera extends the scented element within mixed climbing displays. At ground level, Geraniums, Nepetas and Alchemillas provide a softer layer of foliage and flower colour that complements the climbing framework above.

Growing at a glance…

Pot grown plants are bigger than our modules or plugs. We grow them until they produce foliage, allowing you to plant them directly outdoors on arrival. Their mature state means that they will flower faster than smaller plants, giving you plants sooner than if you had started them from scratch at home. Perfect for any flower bed, border or container this season. Water when their soil feels dry to touch, particularly in warm bouts of weather in the early morning or late evening once the sun has set.
