‘Alcazar' is an exotic looking Kniphofia variety that produces showy tall dense spikes of colourful flowers. Bright red buds open into brilliant fiery red-orange flowers complementing the sunny yellow stamen. Clusters of tubular flowers stand at a staggering 1.5m on sturdy bronze stems that create a warm tone to garden borders where they will add character and depth to the display. Flowering from July through to October, these hardy perennials will attract butterflies and birds into the garden where they can also be planted in containers for smaller gardens. We recommend planting in fertile, well-drained soil in sunny areas of the garden where they will thrive. They can also be cut to create unique flower displays for within the home. First grade loose roots supplied.
