Product Description
Lettuce Salad Bowl Green is similar in shape to Salad Bowl Red, but instead of bronze leaves, this plant produces vivid green foliage that are a classic shade you often see in a perfect salad bowl. Will produce a regular supply of leaves over several months. Harvest singular leaves from the base rather than pulling the entire plant to encourage regular growth. Sow seeds directly into the ground in March to August.

Growing at a glance…
Lettuce is hardy and can be planted as soon as the soil can be worked (from March). Can be sown directly into place outside. Pop 3 seeds every 10cm in rows that are 10-15cm apart. Alternatively, these seeds can be grown indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Cover seed lightly with a few inches of fine soil and firm in gently. Thin young seedlings to one plant per spot (give about 10cm space).
