Product Description
Malus 'John Dowie' is a wonderful variety of flowering crab apple. These wonderful trees produce an abundance of bright red and yellow fruit which can be eaten fresh but are better suited to culinary dishes or when used in crumbles and sauces. Pretty white saucer-shaped flowers bloom from April through to May where their nectar entices bees into the garden. The fruit will also provide birds with food during the sparse winter months. Reaching a mature height of 5m, these sturdy and useful trees will make a great addition to garden borders, or for gardeners with less space, these trees can be planted in large containers for the patio or decking. 60-100cm plants supplied in a 2 litre pot.
