Product Description
Monstera Deliciosa, also known as 'Swiss Cheese' plant or 'Cheese Plant' because of the holes that can appear on its leaves. They're also known as Monstera because of the sheer size of their leaves when they grow quite large. These plants have a climbing habit, are easy to care for, and can tolerate a wait between watering. Prefers semi-shade or a bright room, but avoid placing it directly in front of a window as the sun can scorch its leaves. This beauty loves a moist atmosphere, so give its leaves a light misting every so often.
All plants will be delivered in nursery pots, decorative pots not included.
*We may delay the dispatch of your houseplants during severe cold weather.

Growing at a glance…
Water lightly, allowing the soil to dry out a bit between watering. If the top two inches of soil is dry, it's time to water! Avoid popping in direct sunlight, but can tolerate bright or semi-shaded areas of your home. It loves to be in humid conditions, so mist its leaves every few days (especially if the heating is on!). This plant loves to climb. Give it a support, like a moss pole, and watch it climb! If you spot an aerial root coming out of the soil, this is a sign that it's looking for a support to climb. Repot this plant every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root bound. Pick a pot that is roughly 2-3 inches bigger than its current one. Monstera plants don't mind being snug in their pot, but being rootbound for too long can stunt their growth. Monsteras can be grown hydroponically with ease. Can be propagated by stem cuttings/wet sticks (cut a piece of the stem approx 2-3 inches in length. Make sure to include a growth node but not a leaf. Submerge the node in a glass of water and keep it in a warm bright spot. Within a few months you will have a root system ready to be potted up). Fertilise every other watering in spring/summer, or every 4 waterings in winter if growth continues. However, with any fertiliser, we recommend following their guidelines on usage.
