Growing at a glance…
Start from January to March indoors or in a heated greenhouse from February to April. When transplanting, clip plants to 5-7cm and plant 5cm deep. Can be sown directly outside once the ground has warmed in mid-late spring, at 2-3 seeds every 2cm. Ensure its soil is moist and fertile, as this will produce the best crop. Thin roughly 10-12cm apart when plants are 15-20cm tall. Harvest once they grow to a tennis ball size.
