Papaver 'Double Shirley' produces double pink and white flowers throughout summer. An early summer bloom that can be used for cut flower displays throughout the season. Grow in borders or containers for a striking display.

Growing at a glance…
Sow thinly over soil in a sunny location. Make sure the soil is well-drained. These seeds need the winter cold to break its natural dormancy, so you can grow these in the early spring. They will not thrive if they're sown directly to established areas of grass, so make sure they're grown in areas of soil that have been recently disturbed, like a flower bed. Seeds will germinate in early spring as the soil warms.
