Raspberry Glen Ample is a terrific mid-season Raspberry variety that produces a heavy crop of tasty fruit from July onwards. The large Raspberries have an excellent flavour and can be eaten fresh, used within desserts or frozen for use in later months. Rubus Idaeus Glen Ample has good disease resistance, is a vigorous grower and hardy plant that will thrive in direct sun planted in well-drained, fertile soil. The luscious fruit is surrounded by lobed deciduous leaves and reaches a mature height of 1.25 metres. UK-grown raspberry canes supplied.

Mulch with well rotted compost or manure which will also help keep control of any wayward weeds. After planting cut back to between 15-25cm above soil level. It is important you make sure they are kept well watered and the soil is kept weed free.Plant raspberry canes in fertile, well drained and well cultivated soil. Plant in a sunny location or in a partially shaded area. Plant bare root canes from November to March. Plant firmly 35-45cm apart with 120-180cm between rows, and providesupport in the form of a stake when needed.
