Product Description

Sansevieria Superba, also known as Mother-in-law's Tongue, Viper's Bowstring, or Snake Plant, is almost unkillable - perfect for beginner plant parents! It likes most sunlight conditions, except complete darkness. Its leaves are wide and tall, growing in an upright habit. The leaves themselves offer a snake-like green pattern, with lime green edges. It'll be thankful of you wiping the dust of its leaves every now and then, to keep their pours free of debris. It won't need a lot of water, perhaps just when the soil feels dry - and even less in winter. An ideal plant that benefits your home in all kinds of ways, like it storing oxygen by day and releasing it at night.

All plants will be delivered in nursery pots, decorative pots not included.

*We may delay the dispatch of your houseplants during severe cold weather.

Growing at a glance…

Prefers bright light to semi-shade, but not complete darkness. Water when the first two inches of soil feel dry, perhaps every few weeks (or every 10 days). Less in winter! It can benefit from a liquid fertiliser once a month in spring and summer to help it thrive. Wipe the dust off their leaves every week or so to make sure their pours aren't clogged. Repot this plant every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root bound. Pick a pot that is roughly 1-2 inches bigger than its current one. To propagate in water, cut a stem into pieces. Let them callous over, then put them in some shallow water until roots and other stems develop. Prefers sandy soil mixtures.
