Product Description
Sedum Purple Emperor is a stylish and award-winning Sedum that produces striking burgundy foliage that appears almost black in a certain light. Flowering from August through to October, masses of beautiful star-shaped, red-purple flower heads appear above succulent leaves. These striking blooms are much-loved by pollinators such as butterflies and bees and make an excellent choice for adding depth and texture to garden borders or containers where they reach a mature height of 40cm and spread of 60cm. They can also make a wonderful addition to cut flower displays where they can then be enjoyed indoors. We recommend planting Stonecrop Purple Emperor in fertile, well-drained soil in sunny or partially shaded locations for the best results. First Grade Loose Roots supplied.
