Squash Delicata Honeyboat is even sweeter than most butternut squash varieties! Produces impressive long fruits in pale yellow and dark green stripes. But, these stripes fade when the fruits are ready to harvest. Can be stored easily, perfect for all kinds of recipes.

Growing at a glance…
Ensure plants are grown in a sunny spot that's protected from strong wind. Grow in humus-rich soil that's well drained. Sow seeds indoors from April to June, 2cm deep. Put them in a propagator, or keep somewhere warm - a sealed bag can work wonders (21 degrees). Avoid sowing in cold conditions. Acclimatise outside for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed. Space 1.2m apart.
