This mixture of miniature tulips come in an assortment of orange, red and yellow blends as flared, cup-shaped, and even lotus-shaped blooms. At the compact and manageable height of 20-30cm, this collection of 25 is the perfect choice for a garden which doesn't have much space but still wishes to stand out this spring. We recommend planting this mix in the border to create a wild and carefree swathe of spring colour, however it works just as well in patio pots. Growing at a glance…
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered û you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
