A very striking ruby-purple, showy and outstanding. Dainty botanical crocus varieties are noted for their vivid colour and markings and will mix well the Large Flowering varieties. Their flowering season in February and into March, so can be partnered with early flowering Kaufmanniana Tulips. Tommasinianus Ruby Giant will naturalise superbly and needs very little attention so is a fantastic low maintenance addition to the garden. 5/6cm corms supplied.

Plant crocus bulbs from September to December 5-8cm deep and 5cm apart. Can be planted under trees and shrubs in grass, in borders and containers. Plant in groups for an en-masse growth, similar to what you'd find on a woodland walk. Leave undisturbed after flowering and they will bloom year after year. Flowers late Winter to Early Spring.
