Product Description
Fittingly known as the 'Burning Bush', Euonymus alatus is a striking deciduous variety of hedging shrub which provides a blazingly dramatic barrier of crimson come autumn. Originating from Japan and China, it has a dense and bushy in habit with large, wing-like leaves which taper to points of up to 7cm long, and also produces small pale green flowers and reddish-purple fruits. The foliage of the Euonymus alatus hedge begins a deep bottle green before turning a startlingly vibrant red during the autumn months, adding a much needed flash of colour to the garden as summer brights are beginning to fade. The Burning Bush hedge flowers August to September. Height 2m.
