Nerine Bowdenii Alba
OUT OF STOCK
Nerine Bowdenii Alba (also known as the Guernsey Lily) is a stunning exotic-looking perennial that will produce beautiful blooms when a lot of flowers are past their best. The snow-white flowers have elegant curled petals with wavy edges which stand on top of the stiff upright stems and foliage. Nerine Bowdenii originate from South Africa, so why not add to your autumn colour with other southern hemisphere bulbous perennials such as Eucomis, Amaryllis and Alstroemeria. Flowers September to October. Height 50cm. Top size 12cm+ bulbs supplied.

Nerine prefer to be planted in a sunny position, in fertile/well drained soil (with plenty of peat/sharp sand).
Nerines are ideal for potting up and can be introduced to the garden in April. As they are not completely hardy, we recommend to plant in pots, keep in frost-proof place and remove in to the garden in late April. Can be watered freely when growth be gins to appear but should be held back when the bulb is dormant.
