Product Description
Cerastium Snow In Summer is a beautiful silver-leafed white flowered perennial that will produce a rampant creeping carpet of snowy ground cover starting in spring and lasting right through till autumn. Commonly known as 'mouse-ear chickweed' for the distinctive shape of its cloven petals, its evergreen leaves will form a mat of weed suppressing foliage making this an ideal choice for rockeries, dry stone walls or general ground cover. Cerastium will grow anywhere, even in very poor dry soil where other plants fail. 5cm module grown plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Divide in spring if it spreads too much or becomes too invasive. Plant out as soon as possible on arrival. Grow these plants in well-dug prepared soil. Grow at the front of a border as ground cover or try cascading them over a wall. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well, or as best as you can.
