Product Description

Pink Jewel' is a hardy perennial that produces showy vivid rose-pink petals that surround a sunny yellow centre. Commonly known as the Michaelmas Daisy, it will flower perpetually for months through the summer from June through to October and reach a height of 60cm. Easy to grow, they are the perfect choice for adding to rockeries, patio containers and the front of borders where they will attract pollinators such as butterflies. These eye-catching flowers also make excellent cut-flower displays bringing a pop of colour into the home. UK-grown 5cm module plants supplied.

Planting Notes

Soil Type Fertile, moist but well drained.

Growing at a glance…

Deadhead regularly to encourage further growth spurts. Will tolerate full sun and partially shaded areas. Plant on arrival in well drained, prepared soil. Add a little bit of organic matter when planting and protect from strong winds. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
