Product Description
Agapanthus 'Blue Peter' is a beautiful large flowering variety that produces clusters of intense deep blue flowers standing above lance-shaped green foliage below. Flowering from July through to September, this hardy perennial can be planted in containers or the front of garden borders where they will reach an eventual height of 90cm. 'Blue Peter' creates a charming display when planted alone but can create more of a feature when planted alongside contrasting colours of Agapanthus. They can also be cut to provide a wonderful bouquet to be appreciated within the home. We recommend planting in fertile, well-drained soil in areas of plenty of sun where they will thrive. First grade loose plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
To plant loose rooted agapanthus, start by soaking the roots in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours beforehand. Then, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. If you’re planting them in pots, then fill a large pot halfway with soil, adding the crown of the plant pointing upwards. Ensure the crown is just below the soil. Water well once planted. Loose rooted agapanthus should be planted in spring directly into the garden somewhere that gets plenty of sunshine.
