Product Description
Agapanthus, fondly known as the African Lily, are bold hardy perennial plants which are superb for containers or borders. This wonderful mixture will provide a showy display where the clusters of colourful flowers stand above lance shaped foliage at a height of 75-90cm. The flowers bloom from July lasting through to September where they can also be cut and used within floral displays to be enjoyed within the home. We recommend planting in sunny areas of the garden in well-drained, fertile soil where they will thrive. They can also tolerate more shaded areas but will produce less flowers. First grade loose rooted plants supplied.
We guarantee our great value mixture packs contain a comprehensive blend of variety and colours. By definition the components of the mixtures are not labelled/named on arrival.

Growing at a glance…
To plant loose rooted agapanthus, start by soaking the roots in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours beforehand. Then, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. If you’re planting them in pots, then fill a large pot halfway with soil, adding the crown of the plant pointing upwards. Ensure the crown is just below the soil. Water well once planted. Loose rooted agapanthus should be planted in spring directly into the garden somewhere that gets plenty of sunshine.
