Product Description

Agastache ‘Red Fortune’ is a vibrant, long-flowering perennial valued for its richly coloured flower spikes and aromatic foliage. From midsummer into early autumn, its dense spires of deep rosy-red flowers rise above neat clumps of soft green, anise-scented leaves. The upright, well-branched habit gives it a strong vertical presence, typically reaching up to 80 cm in height, making it well-suited to the middle of sunny borders.

The ever-reliable ‘Red Fortune’ provides consistent colour at a time when many perennials are at their peak. It combines ornamental impact with resilience in warm, well-drained conditions, and is relatively drought-tolerant once established. This Agastache is highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, bringing movement and life to the garden throughout summer.

‘Red Fortune’ partners beautifully with ornamental grasses, Echinacea, Rudbeckia and other prairie-style perennials, where its warm flower tones complement softer yellows and purples. It is equally effective in contemporary borders or gravel gardens, adding colour, fragrance and pollinator value in equal measure.
