Product Description

A rich, deep purple variety with 100cm stems. This is a beautiful allium that will look well soaring up at the back of the border. Its attractive curled green leaves will wither before the flowers appear in early summer so we recommend accompanying them with low-growing perennials to provide filling foliage over the base areas. Choose yellow and orange flowers for a brilliant eye catching arrangement. 10cm+ bulbs supplied.

Growing at a glance…

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil at approx 10cm apart and at a depth of roughly 3-4 times the size of the bulb. Larger bulbs should be spaced 20cm apart. Leave untouched for a number of years until the bulbs have multiplied and divide if necessary. Smaller alliums can be grown in containers, but ensure it's large enough to space the bulbs an appropriate distance apart.
