Product Description
If you're after a focal point for the summer garden, then Amaranthus Caudatus Red is a perfect choice. Produces rope-like scarlet red blooms, which are great as cut flowers or for drying. Will flower throughout summer and into autumn. Also known as 'love lies bleeding' due to its striking appearance.

Growing at a glance…
Sow from early spring (March-April) under glass. Separate 2-3mm apart in fine seed compost. Will take 7-10 days on average to germinate. Keep in warm areas of the house or in a heated greenhouse. Sow directly outside from May. Transplant indoor-grown seedlings when they are large enough to handle (3-5cm). Gradually move them outside so they can acclimatise once all threat of frost has passed. Position them somewhere that reaches full sunlight and has well-drained soil.
