Asparagus Connovers Colossal is an heirloom variety that is both early maturing and has an excellent flavour! Will crop en-masse, providing a great selection of thick spears and pointed buds. Ideal for growing in sunny spots of the vegetable patch.

Growing at a glance…
Will take 14-15 days to germinate. Sow as early on in spring as possible (March-April), planting 2-3 seeds a pot. Transplant outdoors once the seedlings are large enough to handle. Avoid harvesting asparagus heavily until the second year. Ensure their outdoor soil is well-drained and positioned somewhere that gets sun or is in partial shade. Cut foliage when it has yellowed.
