Product Description
Beetroot Boltardy is, as you can imagine by its name, is bolt resistant. This makes it a strong contender for your mixed salads, adding a sweet element to your favourite side dish. Their deep red shade and smooth skin are another bonus, giving the feeling of success when they grow big and strong. Sow indoors from February to June or directly outdoors from March to July to harvest in 7-8 weeks time.

Growing at a glance…
Pre-soaking these seeds in warm water about an hour before sowing will speed up germination. These seeds can be grown indoors, but are frost hardy so they should be sown from March onwards outside. Sow roughly 1cm deep in rows, spaced 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 8cm apart once they've reached about 5-10cm tall.
