Blueberry Top Hat is a fabulous compact shrub that produces masses of delicious blueberries. These fruits have been dubbed as a 'super food' by nutritionists due to their many health benefits including their high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants. The versatile and compact Blueberry 'Top Hat' produces white flowers during spring which develop slowly into fruits come summer before its foliage finally turns reddish-green as autumn approaches. One of our best-selling varieties, the 'Top Hat' Blueberry plant will thrive in a patio container and reach a mature height of just 50cm, making it the perfect choice for smaller gardens. Blueberries taste delicious on their own, in jam or within traditional desserts. 'Top Hat' bushes produce fruit from July to August each year. 9cm pot plants supplied.

They will thrive with regular nitrogen feeding and like regular doses of manure. They are self-fertile, but heavy crops are achieved by cross pollination between two plants.Blueberries will need to be planted in fertile, acidic soil (so plant with plenty of peat). Plant deep as reproduction/new growth are by underground suckers.
