Compact, vigorous and romantic, Camellia Lady Campbell is an eye-catching Japanese shrub with an upright, bushy habit which can grow up to 2m tall. Lady Campbell produces masses of medium-sized , bright red, rose-form flowers up to 3-4 inches (7-10cm) in diameter from April-May. The intricately layered red blooms contrast beautifully with the evergreen foliage of oval, glossy, dark green leaves. Excellent for adding to mixed shrub borders, as hedging or even for growing in large containers. 9cm pot grown plants supplied.

Camellia particularly dislike being exposed to windy conditions or water logged areas. Pruning of camellias is not always necessary but can be sniped back annually if necessary, after flowering has finished. You must water regularly during hot summers/dry period.Can be planted in fertile, moist and humus rich soil. Do not make the mistake of planting too deep, so make sure the top of the roots are level with the soil.
