Carrot Solar Yellow is as its name suggests - a completely yellow carrot! This maincrop variety is very sweet, and is perfect for eating fresh or in your favourite recipes. Ideal for any allotment growers!

Growing at a glance…

Till the bed deeply when the soil is dry. Sow the seeds directly outside into shallow holes and cover lightly with soil. Carrots do not transplant well, so sowing directly outdoors is always advised. Thin seedlings carefully to 2cm apart, watering beforehand to avoid disturbing nearby roots. Grow crops under horticultural fleece to avoid carrot fly attacks. Will mature roughly 68 days from germination.
