Caryopteris (Bluebeard) Summer Sorbet is a stunning variety producing golden variegated foliage with deep blue feathered contrasting flowers. Commonly known as bluebeard for its tufts of fluffy flowers Summer Sorbet will flower for three months from July to September, the aromatic leaves with their eucalyptus like fragrance are loved by butterflies, bees and other useful pollinating insects. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. This deciduous shrub has a busy habit, its mature height and spread up to 1m. Prune in early to mid-spring when there is no risk of frost to promote strong new growth. 15-20cm plants supplied in a 9cm pot.
