Common cress, also known as curled cress or garden cress, is an easy-to-grow variety. It's high in vitamins and has a refreshing peppery flavour that both adults and children love. Perfect for cutting and using in salads and sandwiches. A perfect choice for growing indoors in small pots and containers for grab-and-go use.

Growing at a glance…
Cress seeds are incredibly easy to grow. Can be sown all year round in moist compost. Sow indoors and keep on a windowsill or under glass. Sprinkle the seeds close together over the surface of the soil. Remove access to sunlight to help the seeds germinate, which they should do within 4 days. Pop them on your windowsill or somewhere that gets indirect sunlight. Harvest when needed by snipping the leaves.
