Our Decorative and Cactus Dahlia Mix provides a glorious selection of both varieties, perfect for adding lots of colour and shape to the summer display. Provides a spectacular garden display and cut flowers from mid-summer to the end of October. Plant at back of border. Height 1-1.2m. Our mixture will have a pleasing range of colours and shapes.

Growing at a glance…

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
