Dahlietta's are superb additions to gardens with less space, thanks to their compact nature. Dahlia Dahlietta Surprise Elsa produces creamy white petals that surround tubular sunshine yellow centres. Plant this one in containers or borders for a sublime summer display. Grows to a compact height of between 20-25cm.

Growing at a glance…
Unpack your plants immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if they feel a bit dry. Pot on for 2-3 weeks before planting them out into their final positions outdoors. Alternatively, you can plant these plugs directly outdoors if the weather permits (all risk of frost is gone). Water these plants freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head spent flowers regularly to prolong their display.
