A beautiful collection of unusual Decorative Dahlias, with the usual giant sized flowers that these varieties are renowned for. Perfect for garden borders or patio containers they will create a fabulous display and provide stunning cut flowers for the vase throughout summer. The collection of six includes one each of of Dahlia Blue Boy, David Howard, Gerrie Hoek, Karma Serena, Arabian Knight and Golden Emblem. Height between 120-135cm.. Flower July-October. Growing at a glance…
Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
