Product Description

Glowing with rich golden blooms, Dahlia ‘Karma Gold’ brings a cheerful warmth to summer borders. Each fully double flower, perched atop long, sturdy stems, showcases subtly blushed tips that add depth and dimension to its vibrant display.

‘Karma Gold’ grows to around 90 cm tall with a spread of roughly 50 cm. It provides architectural interest without overwhelming neighbouring plants. Flowering from midsummer through to the first frosts, its luminous yellow tones maintain a striking presence late into the season.

Thriving in full sun and fertile, well‑drained soil, this decorative dahlia rewards attention with reliable, long-lasting blooms. The strong stems may benefit from light support to keep the upright habit neat and poised.

For mixed plantings, ‘Karma Gold’ contrasts beautifully with deep purple Salvias, silvery-leaved Artemisia, or soft blue Agastaches, creating dynamic colour combinations. Its robust stems and vibrant golden flowers also make it an excellent cut-flower, bringing warmth and elegance to indoor arrangements.

Growing at a glance…

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
