Product Description
Dicksonia antarctica, also known as ‘Man Fern’, is an evergreen tree fern that can grow as tall as 8m when given the perfect growing environment. With fluffy fern leaves and root trunks, this plant will look impressive in any Mediterranean or exotic display. Holder of the prestigious RHS Award for Garden Merit. 15cm pot plants supplied.
Please note: It may take a few years for the trunk on this plant to grow as thick as per the image. After each year, the trunk will grow wider, growing upon the died back material from the previous year. When your plant first arrives, it may not look like the image shown - but it will grow to be big and strong as the years go by.

Growing at a glance…
Pot grown plants are bigger than our modules or plugs. We grow them until they produce foliage, allowing you to plant them directly outdoors on arrival. Their mature state means that they will flower faster than smaller plants, giving you plants sooner than if you had started them from scratch at home. Dig a hole that's big enough to house the root system and backfill with soil, ensuring it's planted firmly. Ensure its soil is kept moist.
