Product Description

The Eucalyptus Gunnii, also known as the Cider Gum Tree, is the most popular Eucalyptus species in the UK due to its versatility and reliability. Originating from Australia's southern coast, Eucalyptus Gunnii is an extremely hardy and versatile evergreen variety which can be grown as a fabulous specimen tree on its own or used as a great screening plant to be planted in borders, where their subtle fragrance to be enjoyed. Gunnii is also well known for its insect repelling qualities which can be useful when planted near decking to deter pests. From June through to August, pretty white flowers begin to flourish amongst the silvery leaves. The eye-catching sprigs of the grey-blue foliage can also be brought inside and used in beautiful cool-themed flower arrangements. We recommend pruning these unique shrubs to maintain those lovely round leaves and keep these hardy shrubs a manageable height to complement your garden display. Plants supplied in 13cm pots.
