Product Description
Gladiolus Gladdies ‘Jenny’ lights up borders and patio containers with its bold orange blooms from July through September. Standing around 60 cm tall with a neat, upright form, it brings eye-catching vertical structure to planting schemes while remaining elegantly compact.
‘Jenny’ quickly establishes vigorous stems in fertile, well-drained soil under sunny conditions, producing reliable flowering throughout the season. Naturally sturdy and free-standing, it delivers outstanding garden performance without the need for support, letting its fiery colour shine both close-up and from a distance.
For a layered and dynamic summer display, pair Gladdies ‘Jenny’ with airy Cosmos, soft Coreopsis, and the delicate stems of Gaura. These companions accentuate the vibrant orange blooms while filling lower planting spaces with contrasting texture and subtle colour, creating a lively and harmonious border.

Growing at a glance…
Plant gladioli about 10-15cm deep and about 10-15cm apart, in fertile/well drained soil in autumn or spring. When planting in a heavy soil, place some sand underneath each corm to help with drainage. You can water regularly as the growth begins to appear and you can dead head when flowers begin to die off, though make sure to leave foliage to grow throughout the summer. In late autumn when frosty and cold nights are likely to return, you should lift and dry the corms and store over the winter in a frost free shed/garage until ready to plant again next year.
