Product Description

Granvia Red Flame dazzles with its vivid, papery, flame-red blooms. It rises above neat, mounded foliage, creating a bold splash of colour in borders or containers. Blooming from mid-summer into early autumn, its vibrant flowers retain their intensity over weeks, providing both visual drama and long-lasting interest. The plant grows to around 50 cm high and wide, with a dense, upright habit that works well as a striking focal point or within mixed schemes.

This hardy annual thrives in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, where warmth encourages prolific flowering and steady growth. Water during dry spells and remove faded blooms to prolong its show, though the plant is largely robust and low-maintenance once established.

A member of the Asteraceae family, Granvia Red Flame attracts butterflies and can be paired effectively with trailing Petunias, Salvias or Ornamental Grasses. Its long-lasting stems are also excellent for cutting.

Growing at a glance…

Unpack your plants immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if they feel a bit dry. Pot on for 2-3 weeks before planting them out into their final positions outdoors. Alternatively, you can plant these plugs directly outdoors if the weather permits (all risk of frost is gone). Water these plants freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head spent flowers regularly to prolong their display.
