Product Description

Hebe Jewel of the Nile is a stunning compact evergreen shrub that will provide interest and colour throughout the year. It produces fantastic tri-colour leaves with yellow and green glossy leaves that gain a pink hue and edge in the colder months, when little is in flower. In late spring and early summer, fragrant pale pink flowers will appear to add even more beauty to this marvellous shrub. They are very easy to grow and low maintenance making them a perfect choice for any garden. Their compact growing habit makes them ideal for planting in patio pots, containers or at the front of the border. Height 70-80cm. 9cm pot plants are supplied.

Growing at a glance…

There is little pruning required for hebe shrubs, but if required you can trim back lightly in early Spring. They are fully hardy and an excellent choice for all areas such as rockeries, borders or pots. It is always a good idea to plant them amongstother shrubs as this will help give them extra protection from strong winds, as well as creating some fantastic colour displays.Plant in fairly fertile soil in areas with sun or partial shade. Ensure that there is plenty of drainage available and that you take some care to protect them from strong winds.
