Product Description

Helianthemum ‘Bronzeteppich’, or ‘Bronze Carpet’, blankets sunny borders and rockeries in a glowing bronze-orange tapestry - its dense, low foliage studded with vibrant flowers from late spring through summer. Evergreen and spreading, it maintains year-round structure and texture, offering both seasonal and architectural interest in the garden.

Typically reaching around 30 cm in height and spread in fertile, well-drained soil, it quickly fills gaps with lush foliage and abundant blooms. Its tidy, resilient habit complements a wide range of settings, from rockeries and raised beds to gravel gardens and edging schemes, adding depth and long-lasting presence.

Thriving in full sun to light shade, ‘Bronze Carpet’ performs best in bright, open sites, where its warm flowers contrast beautifully with stonework, gravel, or cooler greens. It pairs naturally with Salvia, Nepeta or Lavender, creating rich, layered displays that attract bees and butterflies, enhancing both colour and wildlife value.

Growing at a glance…

Perfect for any flower bed, border or container this season. Water when their soil feels dry to touch, particularly in warm bouts of weather in the early morning or late evening once the sun has set. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
