Herb Spearmint has a refreshing flavour, perfect for culinary enthusiasts. These plants produce aromatic leaves with ease. A great choice for beginner gardeners in their herb gardens, as it is a relatively easy seed to grow. Can be used while cooking as garnishes. Spike-shaped flowers in shades of white and pink appear throughout summer which will attract pollinators aplenty.

Growing at a glance…
Sow seeds indoors from April or outdoors from May to July. Surface sow seeds in well-drained and moist compost. Only lightly cover them with soil as they need sunlight to germinate. Patience is a must for these seeds as they can take some time to germinate. Transplant into larger pots once the seedlings are large enough to handle and then grow on outdoors once the threat of frost has passed. Acclimatise the seedlings before planting them into final positions, though, for 1-2 weeks.
