We have brought together five hardy Iris Reticulata varieties that are easy to grow, hardy and will flower from early February. One of the earliest flowers to appear in the garden in spring, they are frost hardy and will push their way up whatever the weather, even through the snow. Ideal for planting in pots on the patio or plant at the front of the border where they will naturalise and multiply for an increasing display each year. . This colourful collection of Iris Reticulata will give you a sea of colour and is perfect if you are looking to plant en masse. You will receive 25 each of Pixie (violet-blue), Pauline (purple), Alida (sky blue), Harmony (violet/blue) and J.S. Dijt (deep purple). 5cm+ bulbs supplied.

Bulbs are to be planted 8cm deep and about 10-12cm apart, in well drained soil. It is often best to try to position then with plenty of access to sun. For best results, plant in September through to November.
Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Iris can naturalise well if left undisturbed or alternatively bulbs can be lifted and separated in Autumn. After flowering feed with a high potash fertiliser to encourage large bulbs to form. Well drained, neutral or slightly alkaline soil
