Product Description

Kale Scarlet is a hardy annual variety that produces dark green leaves with vibrant purple veins. Their deep colour develops mostly after the winter. These plants can be picked when the leaves are smaller for a baby salad, or can be left into the winter for harvesting. Can be sown indoors from Mar-May or outdoors from Apr-Sep. Can be harvested up to early April.

If needed, enrich the soil with compost or well-rotted manure. Harvest by clipping individual leaves toward the base.
