Lights, lights, lights

Never underestimate the effect some outdoor lights can have on the garden. Especially now, when the sun sets faster and the garden is dark by 6 pm.

Adding a few lights can help you see your remaining plants in the garden throughout the evening. They are also a perfect backdrop for any hangout or seating area, whatever the season.

Find a lost tin, small plastic pot, or container of your choice. Give it some paint (if you want) and fill it with bedding plants of your choice. Trailing varieties would look good in these planters. Attaching them to the wall can be done with something as simple as a screw into the area of your choice.
