Pea Feltham First is, as its name suggests, one of the earliest cropping varieties available on the market. It's incredibly hardy and produces an abundance of large green pods. Ideal for beginners as it is easy to grow and will be a much-loved addition to your allotments.

Growing at a glance…

Plant these seeds exclusively where pea plants have not been grown for at least 2 seasons, digging in well-rotted organic matter. Sow quite densely in rows that are spaced 2-3 inches apart, 1-2 inches deep, and 1 1/2ft between rows. Ensure you protect your seeds immediately from birds. Provide support to these plants when they reach 3 inches tall.
