Product Description

Rich, saturated colour defines Petunia Easy Wave Violet, a variety that brings depth and sophistication to summer displays. Flowering from late spring through summer and into early autumn, its velvety violet blooms provide long-lasting interest during the height of the season.

This petunia forms a low, spreading plant at around 30 cm in height, extending outward to fill containers, baskets and border edges with ease. Its gently trailing habit creates movement and helps soften transitions between planting areas.

Easy Wave Violet grows best in fertile, well-drained soil and performs most strongly in full sun, though light shade is well tolerated without loss of performance. The darker flower colour remains effective even in mixed or layered displays.

The deep violet shade pairs easily with pinks, whites and silver foliage, as well as brighter tones for contrast. Combined with plants such as Verbena, Lobelia or compact Salvias, Petunia Easy Wave Violet brings balance and richness to a wide range of garden styles.

Growing at a glance…

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2. Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
